PRINCIPAL ELECTED AS 2018 PRESIDENT OF FLORIDA CHAPTER OF THE AMERICAN INSTITUTE OF ARCHITECTS

Kim Headland, AIA, Principal at WILDERARCHITECTURE was elected as the First Vice President Elect / 2018 President of the Florida Chapter of the American Institute of Architects.  She has served the American Institute of Architects at the national, state, and local levels.  She is currently serving as one of four AIA Florida Vice Presidents.

Kim’s contributions to AIA have ranged from the development of member outreach and public education programs at the local level, to advocating for nationwide IDP / ARE concurrency while serving as the Florida Caribbean Regional Associate Director on the National Associates Committee. Most recently, Kim chaired the 2014 State Convention, currently leads the State’s 2016 Advocacy Committee, and participates in a local “Architecture in Education”­ Program as the Treasurer of the Florida Foundation for Architecture.
