Plant Hight School Addition

education

In order to meet Class Size Amendment criteria, the Hillsborough County School District commissioned Wilder Architecture to provide a prototype repeat of the two-story Newsome High School CFK addition. The Newsome High addition has 24 classrooms. The Plant High School variant was reduced in size to a total of 16 classrooms. The split faced block of Newsome was substituted with a brick veneer. A five-brick blend was selected by the Design Team with a black beauty mortar to matching the historic fabric of the original 1927 campus buildings
