John Thompson

John Thompson

John Thompson cofounded WILDERARCHITECTURE and has been an integral part of the success the firm has realized.  John serves as President and is responsible for the business activities of the firm including marketing, administration, and financial affairs.

John received his Bachelor of Design and Master of Architecture from the University of Florida, is a registered architect and a LEED AP - Accredited Professional in Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design from the U. S. Green Building Council,  and is a member of the American Institute of Architects.

John brings his leadership skills and expertise in the design of public safety, commercial, and educational projects. In fact, John has contributed to the design and construction of more than $120 million in construction over the last 10 years.

John and his wife Karin have two boys and a historic home in Seminole Heights.  John is a Tampa native and a graduate of Jesuit High School.

Eric Rice

Eric Rice

Eric Rice is a cofounder and Partner in the firm and serves as Vice President for Operations responsible for Construction Documents and Construction Phase services.

Eric is a graduate of the University of Florida receiving both a Bachelor of Design and Master of Architecture from the College of Design, Construction and Planning, School of Architecture. Eric is a registered architect in the state of Florida and is a LEED AP Accredited Professional with the U. S. Green Building Council and a member of the American Institute of Architects.

Eric brings his leadership skills and expertise in the design of health care/science, historic preservation and education projects. Eric has contributed to the design and construction of many of our award winning projects.

Eric loves to run and participates in Ironman Triathlons primarily to keep up with his wife Tamara, who is also an architect and their twins.

Kim Headland

Kim Headland

Kim Headland is a licensed architect with more than 16 years of experience in the architecture industry. Kim is a proud graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute School of Architecture with a Bachelor of Architecture and a Bachelor of Science: Building Sciences.  Kim is a Principal and Vice President of the firm responsible for business development.  She has been a member of the WILDER ARCHITECTURE Team since 2006 and has an expertise in health care projects and the Florida Building Code and has a passion for detail.

Kim is a registered architect in Florida and a member of the American Institute of Architects.  She has served the American Institute of Architects in national, state and local components recently as President of the Tampa Bay Component and currently as Vice President of AIA Florida.

Kim is actively involved in community affairs in East Tampa where she lives with her husband Richard, also an architect, and their small menagerie - a dog, a cat, two boys, and a new little girl.

Anita Wilder

Anita Wilder

Anita Wilder graduated from the University of Tampa with a Business Degree with an emphasis on Quantitative Analysis.  Whenever Quantitative Analysis is required of the firm we let her have at it.  Before joining the firm Anita has been a mathematician, teacher, and a children’s minister.

Anita serves as the Office Manager and Bookkeeper assisting in financial controls and administration for the WILDERARCHITECTURE Team. Anita is active in a number of community activities and enjoys knitting and other crafts.

Jovanny Betancourt

Jovanny Betancourt

Jovanny Betancourt is an Architect and Project Manager, providing consistent leadership for many projects undertaken by the firm.  Jovanny is a member of the American Institute of Architects, is a Florida Registered Architect and holds a Certificate from the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB). 

Jovanny graduated from the University of Puerto Rico with a Bachelor of Environmental Design and a Master of Arts in Architecture.  He brings more than 15 years of experience to our team with skills in design, production, and architectural rendering.

Jovanny and his wife Amarilys, who also is an architect, are proud parents of a son and a daughter.

Meaghann Coleman

Meaghann Coleman

Maeghann Coleman is an Associate of the firm, supporting our design efforts. She is actively involved in all phases of project development from programming, schematic design, construction documents through to the construction phase.

She is a graduate of the University of South Florida School of Architecture and Community Design.  At USF, she served on the Executive Board of American Institute of Architecture Students and was actively involved in Student Women in Architecture — an organization that develops relationships between women within the architecture field by means of events, networking and mentor/mentee programs.  She also served on the 2015 Faculty Search Committee.

Maeghann is an asset to the firm, benefiting all project she serves on with invaluable insight and architectural problem solving. She is currently pursuing registration in Florida as an Architect.
