The project at the Brandon Campus of Hillsborough Community College included the renovation and remodeling of the Science and Administration/Classroom Buildings including the re-cladding of the exterior envelope. In addition, the project included the design of a new Gateway / Entry Road to the campus. Total building budget is $6.3 million and the entry / roadway component budget is $2.1 million. Renovation / remodeling project scope included the remodeling of 13,000 SF of classrooms and laboratory spaces and approximately 31,600 SF of renovation to upgrade electrical, mechanical, telephone, fire alarm and all safety systems, bringing these systems into compliance with the 21st century classroom and current Florida Building and Fire Prevention Codes.
