PROJECT SUMMARY:
This project is a new prototype middle school. Designed under the 2004 Florida Building Code, the school can accommodate 1,550 student stations for general education of sixth, seventh and eighth grade students. The facility is designed with optimal flexibility to fit any number of small or irregular sites. The first site is located in Northwest Hillsborough County . Special purpose instructional spaces include an art studio, music suite, and physical education facility with gymnasium, play courts, play fields and a running track. Exceptional students and students with special needs are accommodated throughout the facility.
Vocational education includes spaces for Business Technology, Communications, Family Consumer Science, and Health. The core support spaces of the program include a Media Center , an Administrative and Student Services suite, Multi Purpose Room and Food Service Facility.
